Half of Austrian Jews Emigrated Nazis Report

The Vienna edition of the Voelkischer Beobachter has announced that 99,672 Jews have emigrated from Austria since Anschluss under the auspices of the Central Government Office. The figure represented slightly more than 50 per cent of Austria’s Jewish population. The newspaper’s statistics included only those emitters practicing the Jewish faith.
