About half of the male followers of the ex-Mufti of Jerusalem and all the women and children in his party were allowed to return to Palestine after their capture by the British in Iran, it was admitted today in Commons by Foreign Secretary Anthony Eden. The other Mufti followers, including, members of his family, have been interned in Southern Rhodesia, Eden declared. He stated that these arrangements had been made in conjunction with the Palestine government.
