Funeral services will be held here tomorrow for Henry Hurwitz, editor of the Menorah Journal since its inception in 1915 and a leader in the Menorah movement to promote interest in Jewish history and culture, who died here Sunday night at the age of 75.
Born in Lithuania, Mr. Hurwitz was brought to this country when he was five years old. He attended Harvard University where he captained the university’s debating team and founded the Harvard Menorah Society. He was also the founder of the Intercollegiate Menorah Association and its successor, the Menorah Association, Inc.
