Immigrants from the former Soviet Union left Israel at a higher rate during the past decade than other immigrants. Some 68,000 immigrants from the region, out of the 906,000 who came to Israel between 1990 and 2001, subsequently left the country, Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics reported.
