Indian Government Consulted on Macmahon-husseini Letters

The Indian government has been consulted regarding the publication of the MacMahon-Husseini correspondence, Dr. Drummond Shiels, under secretary for the Colonies, informed the House of Commons today in reply to a question from Lord Winterton. Dr. Shiels also expressed the hope that he would be in a position to make a statement on the matter after a month.
