Iraq Premier Renders Relief to Jewish Victims in Bagdad

The premier of Iraq, Sayid Almadfai, presented the Jewish community of Bagdad with a gift of £200 for the victims of the anti-Jewish pogrom which took place in Bagdad two months ago during the pro-Nazi insurrection. It was reported at the time that some 300 Jews were killed and 1,500 wounded.
