A sharp attack on the Israel Government for engaging in reparations talks with West Germany has been made by the Communist-controlled Jewish Democratic Committee of Rumania, according to information received here from Bucharest.

At a recent meeting, the Committee adopted a resolution charging that Israel entered the negotiations on orders from “American and British imperialists.” The resolution denounced the “boundless cynicism” of the Zionist negotiators and described the talks as a move to re-arm the “Hitlerite criminal arm against the Soviet Union, the liberator of our country.” The resolution demanded an immediate end to The Hague talks.
