Israel Cabinet Reiterates Neutrality Toward Conflict in Cyprus

The Cabinet yesterday reiterated Israel’s policy of neutrality regarding the unrest in Cyprus after Foreign Minister Golda Meir reviewed the situation at the weekly meeting. It is believed that the Cabinet also discussed Israel’s future relations with Cyprus in view of the recent visit to Cairo by Cypriote President Makarios. According to reports here, Nasser has urged President Makarios to sever relations with Israel.
