The Israel Government approved in principle the acquisition by El Al National Airlines of jet airplanes for its passenger service, it was announced here by Yitzhak Ben-Aharon, Minister of Transport. He said that El Al will be operating jet liners this year. A special commission is now studying various proposals to acquire such planes, he stated.
