Adlai Stevenson yesterday told newsmen at a press conference in Cairo that “Israel and the Arab states should come to some arrangements on their problems pending a settlement,” it was reported here today.
Speaking at the conclusion of a six-day visit to Egypt, the former Democratic Presidential candidate declared: “Israel is here to stay and so are the Arab states.”
