Israel Votes for 24-nation Draft of Disarmament Resolution in U. N.

Israel was one of the 57 nations which voted today at a first committee meeting of the UN General Assembly to adopt the 24 power draft resolution on the question of disarmament.

The draft resolution was developed by the Western Powers and strongly opposed by the Soviet bloc for linking suspension of nuclear weapons testing with the prompt installation of effective international control.
