Israeli government workers continued to strike Sunday as Treasury and labor officials met to resolve differences over an economic austerity plan. Teachers did not join the strike. Despite marathon talks over the weekend, the two sides remained at odds over several key issues, including the size of a pay cut and the number of civil servants to be laid off.
