A young Israeli Jew whose name was not disclosed, was sentenced by the District Court here today to 12 years’ imprisonment on charges of passing information to a neighboring country.
The accused admitted crossing illegally into another country and passing on security information but he denied the charge that it was his intention to harm Israel’s security.
