Israeli opposition leaders want to hold elections for prime minister and the Knesset as soon as March to prevent Prime Minister Ehud Barak from reaching an agreement with the Palestinians. Also, the Knesset plans to vote on a proposal to bar any prime minister who lacks a legislative majority from signing any deal with the Palestinians.
