Israeli police are investigating after messages were sent to some cell-phone owners over the weekend reporting an assassination attempt against Knesset speaker Avraham Burg. Police rushed to Burg’s home after the message was sent. Israel’s Army Radio reported that Labor Party activists may have been behind the prank.
