Israeli troops took over portions of Ramallah in the West Bank. Tanks were stationed Thursday within 200 yards of Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat’s office in the city. One Palestinian was killed during the raids, which came after Israel cut off contact with Arafat on Wednesday night after a series of Palestinian terror attacks.
