Israel’s domestic security chief voiced alarm at the level of arms smuggling to Gaza. Shin Bet chief Yuval Diskin told the Cabinet on Wednesday that since Israel’s withdrawal from the Gaza Strip last year around 20 tons of military-grade explosives and hundreds of rifles have reached Palestinian terrorists from neighboring Egypt.
