Israel’s Education Minister sent a letter to his counterparts throughout Europe urging them to enact Holocaust education programs. Citing the rise of Austria’s far-right Freedom Party, Yossi Sarid wrote, “Let us cooperate to stop the spread of hatred and racism in Europe before it is allowed to poison the minds of our precious youth.”
