Israel’s housing minister rejected a U.S.-led fact-finding commission’s call for a complete freeze on Israeli settlement construction. Ruling out any compromise before attacks on Israel stop, Natan Sharansky said after meeting with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage that “no prize will be paid for terrorism.”
