Israel’s Religious Affairs Ministry is slated to be dismantled by the end of the year. Two members of the National Religious Party walked out of Wednesday’s Cabinet session before the vote, saying they may quit Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s government if the vote for dismantlement passed.
