Israel’s state comptroller criticized Ariel Sharon for a “conflict of interest” in a land-use decision. But Attorney General Elyakim Rubinstein has said he will not press charges in the incident, in which the Israeli prime minister allegedly sought to influence an Israel Lands Authority decision allowing farmers to use land for commercial purposes.
