Israel’s vote at the General Assembly last week in favor of the Arab nations’ resolution calling on United Nations Secretary General Dag Hammarskjold to take the lead in working out a rapprochement among them is being criticized here by all opposition parties. Reportedly, some coalition members share the criticisms.

In a joint meeting in Tel Aviv yesterday of all the opposition parties, Ambassador Abba Eban’s vote was scored. At a joint meeting tomorrow, leaders of the opposition groups will decide whether to demand recall of the recessed Parliament for a debate on the vote. The opposition also frowned on the fact that Mrs. Golda Meir, Foreign Minister, was not at the United Nations heading Israd’s delegation to the special Assembly.
