A dramatization of the life and work of Prof. Yigael Yadin, professor of archaeology at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, was presented over the state-owned Italian Television Network.
The program, entitled “Yigael Yadin, Soldier and Archaeologist,” highlighted the story of Prof, Yadin’s life from Israel’s War of Independence to his current archaeology discoveries. Also featured in the broadcast was a filmed interview with Prof. Yadin in his Jerusalem home.
