Oswiecim, the site of the Nazis’ most notorious extermination center where, it has been variously estimated, between eight and 30 million Jews and non-Jews were murdered, will soon become a central electric power station, jointly operated by Czechoslovakia and Poland.
The project was disclosed today by Evzen Losbel, permanent chief of the Czechoslovak Ministry of Foreign Trade, who is in London on an official mission.
