J. Irving Oelbaum, Leader in Many Jewish Causes in Canada, Dies at 67

J. Irving Oelbaum, a Canadian Jewish leader, died here. He would have been 67 years of age later this month. Serving in a wide variety of Jewish causes, Mr. Oelbaum was active in the B’nai B’rith, was a member of the national executive of the Canadian Jewish Congress and a past president of the Toronto United Jewish Fund. He was also active in the Zionist Organization of Canada and in support of the United Jewish Appeal.
