The Joint Distribution Committee reported today spending $208,500 for relief and emigration of refugee Jews from Germany in 1935.
The annual report of the J.D.C.’s refugee activities, made public by Joseph C. Hyman, executive director, said that since the beginning of the emergency, it contributed $957,000 to Jewish and non-sectarian groups to aid refugees.
