William Warburg, a Jewish inventor of this city, was fatally injured yesterday while experimenting with a new parachute of his own invention. The inventor jumped from a radio-mast at a height of 130 metres. The parachute opened, but during the descent the strings tore and the inventor came crashing down to earth.
The deceased was in no way related to the prominent Warburg family of Hamburg and New York.
