The Jewish Agency executive, at its plenary session today, discussed its planned participation in a national conclave of Zionist leaders to be held in the Hotel Commodore here, on November 19, under the suspices of the American Zionist Council.
Debate indicated that the great majority of the executive agreed that the agenda of the conclave should be limited to items directly affecting the Zionist movement in the light of current developments, particularly the question of the role of American Zionism in implementing the four-point aid-Israel program approved two months ago in Jerusalem and endorsed again last week at the National Planning Conference in Washington.
Discussion continued on the United Jewish Appeal campaign and its relation to the projected bond issue by the Israel Government. Speakers emphasized the need for coordinating the two activities in such fashion as to achieve maximum benefit for Israel from both.
