Jewish Businessman Makes Large Gift to University in South Africa

Michael Miller, a leading Jewish businessman, presented today a gift of 50, 000 pounds to Witwatersrand University, to establish a foundation to bring eminent overseas medical authorities to lecture at the university.

Mr. Miller is co-founder and chairman of OK Bazaars, the largest chain of stores in South Africa. Last year, Sam Cohen, former chairman of the chain store, gave the university a similar sum to establish a chain of ophthalmology.
