The Central Committee of Jewish Religious Communities in Poland has publicly repudiated charges that the Polish Government had interfered in Jewish religious activities and asserted in a statement published in the Warsaw Yiddish daily, Folkshtimme, that “all religious needs of the Jews in Poland are being met. “
The statement, signed by Isaac Fraenkel, president of the committee, appeared in copies of the newspaper received here today. It asserted that every Jewish community in Poland has a mikvah (ritual bath), that 13 ritual slaughterers have been trained at Wroclaw and that any parent who wants his child to have a Jewish education can arrange it.
