The Association of Polish Jews, founded here in 1938 by Polish and other East European Jews who came here after World War I, has been absorbed by the Jewish Center of Portugal, it was reported here. Membership in the Association decreased to 50 this year, owing primarily to emigration.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
