The Russian steamer Ignaty Sergeff has arrived here with 250 immigrants. Permiss to land was at first withheld from the immigrants but was finally granted after an appeal to the Turkish Government. One hundred ninety-five of the immigrants who are Jews willremain here until the reopening of the American quotas. A few are proceeding to Palestine.
