Mrs. Sydney Borg, prominent in Jewish charities in New York City, and State Senator Samuel H. Hofstadter, were two of the nine appointees of Governor Roosevelt to sit on an Old Age Penions Commission. The others are State Senators Seabury C. Mastick, Cornelius N. Bliss, Assemblyman Frank Bernhardt, John T. Train, and Thomas F. Farrell, a leader in national Catholic charities.
