David Weiner, a 16-year old student at Seward Park High School on the lower East Side of New York was the winner of a physical fitness contest in which 28 boys were selected to compete from 65,000 male high school students, who comprise practically the entire male student body of the city’s high schools. The contest was under the auspices of the P. S. A. L. and the 28 boys who were qualified to compete were presented with gold badges.
