Jewish Veterans Back Halpern Proposal for Free U.S. Arms to Israel

The Jewish War Veterans of the United States announced here today it will take up with the Administration the proposal made in the House of Representatives two days ago that the United States furnish free arms to Israel in response to reports that Chinese Communist munitions are being shipped to Arab extremists aiming to make war against Israel. The announcement was made by the JWV’s national commander, Malcolm A. Tarlov. The proposal that the United States ship free arms to Israel had been made by Rep. Seymour Halpern, New York Republican.
