Jewish Welfare Board Appeals for Blood Plasma for Armed Forces

Irving Edison, president of the National Jewish Welfare Board, today appealed to the board’s 321 affiliated centers and YMYWHA’s throughout the country to initiate immediately among their 250,000 adult members a campaign to meet the blood plasma needs of the military forces. Mr. Edison’s appeal was made at the request of Secretary of Defense Robert Lovett.
