Jews in Seattle Raise $12,543 for Refugees

Six months after it was launched, a $15,000 drive for relief of German Jewish refugees ended here with the announcement of Sol Esfeld, drive vice-chairman, that $12,543.49 had been contributed by 496 persons. The drive was part of the United Jewish Appeal. The ORT and HIAS are also beneficiaries of the Seattle drive.
