Special rations of eggs, lemons, apples and oranges, which were distributed this week to residents of the town of Kalish in the Nazi-annexed section of Poland, were not made available to Jews and Poles, the Ostdeutscher Beobachter reports today.
The paper also reveals that the recent Nazi order to the Warsaw Jewish community to construct a crematorium immediately was necessitated by the fact that there is no more burial space remaining in the Warsaw Jewish cemetery.
