Dr. Sidney E. Goldstein, member of the Interfaith Council, declared yesterday he knew nothing of the statement attributed to him that Jewish members of the organization will not take part in starting a house-to-house canvass in the campaign against salacious entertainment in New York.
He said groups will be built up through synagogues and Jewish organizations during the Holy Days to voice their protest against indecent films and other types of entertainment.
No date has been decided for the next meeting of the Interfaith Council.
