Louis E. Goodman, United States District Judge and chief judge of the District Court, died of a heart attack at the age of 69.
Judge Goodman had been a member of the board of directors of the Jewish Welfare Federation, a board member of Mr. Zion Hospital, a member of the Jewish Community Relations Council and other San Franciscon Jewish organizations.
