His Majesty the King was represented by his aide-de-camp, General Sir Charles Harrington, at the memorial service for General Sir John Monash, held at noon to-day at the Hampstead Synagogue. The Army Council was represented by General Sir Archibald Montgomery Massingherd, Adjutant General to the Forces. Rabbi Dayan Gollop, the Senior Jewish Chaplain to the Forces, conducted the service.
