Details of the six-month reign of terror in British-mandated Palestine will be laid before the League of Nations for the first time when the Mandates Commission meets in extraordinary session on May 31, it was announced today.

The Council decided to consider the annual mandatory report together with the recommendations of Great Britain’s Royal Commission, which has just completed an investigation in the Holy Land. The report will contain an account of the Palestine disturbances which took over 300 lives between April and October, 1936.

Most of the Council members demanded that the Mandates Commission session be held the first week in April, but British delegates explained that the British Cabinet would hardly be able to consider the Royal Commission’s report at such an early date, preliminary to laying it before the Mandates Commission.
