Sigmund M. Lehman, brother of Lieutenant-Governor Herbert H. Lehman of New York, died suddenly yesterday morning at the Hotel Ritz in Paris from heart disease at the age of 71. The body will be brought to America for burial.
Since his retirement from the firm of Lehman Bros., international bankers, in 1908, Mr. Lehman had devoted most of his time to traveling, and with his wife had been planning to return to New York on Wednesday. He is survived by his wife, two sons, and two other brothers besides the Lieutenant-Governor, Judge Irving Lehman and Arthur Lehman of the firm of Lehman Bros., as well as three sisters.
