Mark Hindenburg’s Birthday in Palestine

The German colonists in Palestine, mainly of the colonies Sarona and Wilhelma near Jaffa, gave a reception here yesterday on the occasion of the the birthday of President von Hindenburg of the German Republic.

German Consul in Jerusalem, Hoffmann, stressed the friendship which exists between the German colonists in Palestine and the Mandatory Power, which helped reconstruct the German colonies after the war. The Germans will also contribute in the future to Palestine’s development, he stated.
