Demands for the immediate establishment of a Jewish State in Palestine featured huge mass-meetings held today throughout Palestine on the occasion of May Day. Leaders of the Palestine Labor Party, addressing the meetings, said that there is no other possible solution to the Jewish problem.

“San Francisco, which is a turning-point in world history,” said a speaker addressing a meeting here, “must also become a turning-point of Jewish history. There can be no world regime of justice unless the wrongs of the Jewish people are rectified.”
