“Must there be an open mass-march of Patriots to “Purge” Washington of alien ‘invisible rule,’ to restore Representative Government and establish a politico-economic Code of Honor?”
In an attempt to forestall an accusation which he knows is bound to be made, the ex-Congressman declares, “The writer is neither a lunatic nor a racketeer. He merely has ears that hear the warning signals, eyes that visualize the fateful future, patriotism to dramatize the Deadly Peril.”
