Mexico to Send Diplomatic Mission to Israel, President Says

Mexican President Adolfo Ruiz Cortines today received Dr. Moshe Tov, head of the Israel Foreign Ministry’s Latin American Department, who is currently on a goodwill tour of Latin American countries.

During the audience, the Mexican President informed Dr. Tov that Mexico would shortly send a diplomatic mission to Jerusalem. Dr. Tov was accompanied by Joseph Kessary, Israel Minister to Mexico. Later, Dr. Tov was received by Foreign Minister Luis Padilla Nervo and other high government officials.
