Thirty-seven out of 59 Jewish communities in Moravia and Silesia are without rabbis because the government, while refusing to admit foreign rabbis at the same time refuses to support the establishment of the rabbinical seminary in Czechoslovakia. This discrimination against Jews is particularly obvious since the Lutheran Church has been given permission to bring in clergymen from abroad merely by submitting them to an examination by a leader in the same church. This privilege has been refused the Jews.
