More than 1,000 people participated in the Argentina Jewish center’s third annual solidarity marathon to alleviate poverty.
The AMIA Jewish central institution and the United Nations Program for Development sponsored the run in Buenos Aires Sunday as part of the International Day for Poverty Eradication.
Each runner paid $6 to participate. There was no final total yet on the amount raised by the event.
