The Moroccan newspaper Ahkbar Ed Dounia, which favors the policies of President Nasser of Egypt, asserted today that the Moroccan Council of Ministers was considering the arrest of certain Jewish leaders for allegedly “plotting” against the security of Morocco.

The publication asserted that a number of “political meetings” had been held by Jewish community leaders “to discuss anti-Moroccan action.” The newspaper, like the Minister for Islamic Affairs, regards Moroccan Jews as “proteges” and not as equals of Moroccan Moslems. The editorial concluded with some favorable comment on Hitler and Adolf Eichman
